Get Support
If you are experiencing thoughts about suicide you should seek help and talk to someone. It is important to know that you are not alone and speaking to a professional can help you overcome these feelings.
A good place to start is to get some advice from your GP and local mental health team who will assess you to see what support they can offer you.
If you are an adult in one of our areas (Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow) you can contact local mental health teams on the following numbers:
CNWL Mental Health Urgent Care Team (after 5pm helpline): 020 3028 8475
WLMHT Mental Health Crisis or Emergency (24 hour helpline): 0300 1234 244
If you are under 18, contact the local CAMHS team on:
Hammersmith & Fulham: 020 8483 1979
Ealing: 0208 354 8160
Hounslow: 020 8630 3237
Kensington & Chelsea: 020 3317 3599
Westminster: 020 3317 5999
There are lots of free helplines available too, to assist you through this.
Childline: 0800 1111; https://www.childline.org.uk
Papyrus: 0800 068 41 41; Text 07860 039967; Email: pat@papyrus-uk.org
If you feel you are at imminent risk of suicide or self harm, call 999 immediately.
Speaking to your GP or local mental health team/CAMHS team is a good idea. They can assess you and provide you with medication or talking therapy to overcome low mood and anxiety. You can also try some of the free helplines above.
